You know you're on a different flight-path than everyone else when...

...an colleague has trouble (as we all do) with the individually adjustable armrests on a new office chair and you find yourself suggesting that she swaps places with her bassoon...

Cue confused and concerned hard stares from colleagues.

I don't really have a flight path. I'm like Arthur, tagging along for the ride whilst someone else is at the controls. Well, I hope they are...

Just pray to god it isnt me! Mind you I can't be as bad as one flight I was on where the Captain boldly anounced that we were on a flight to Edinburgh and then there was some hushed whispering and then the Captain came over the com and said sorry this is your flight to Aberdeen!

Really inspiring eh? LOL

Are you sure the captain wasn't Hilary Duff from 'The High Life'?

My best Scottish flight was Inverness to Stornoway when we they gave out complimentary Irn Bru!

You must have the same office chairs as we do. (Also: arm-rests is hyphenated. ;-P)

No she can not. I'm going to be thinking of bassoons whenever I tussle with those arm-rests (hypenation duly noted!!!) in future, and I already have enough problems when I see a lemon or a yellow car...

Hee, I totally understand your problem: yesterday I was at the local supermarket and found myself in the fruits & vegetables isle, trying to find a lemon that would look good enough for my 'travelling lemon' pics...

I'm just grateful that I don't run into otters or weasels or hedgehogs on a regular basis...
