Currently, I'm using Windows Movie Maker to make my screencaps (which I absolutely hate) because my other means of capturing an image does not seem to be working for the last month or so.
If you have Windows Media Player, pause at the point where you want to capture. Press CTR+I and then ALT+PrtScrn, and then paste it on MS Paint (or whatever graphics program you use).
Media Player Classic (free) has a "Save Image" feature that I used to use all the time but doesn't seem to work for me anymore. *LOL* I miss it.
BS Player (free; http://www.bsplayer.org/) also has a "Capture Image" feature right on there (but that didn't work for me either when I tried it).
I think there's just something wrong with my comp. *LOL* But you could try any of those things.

I got my Media Player Classic by downloading the K-lite Codec Pack (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm) but you might not want the whole thing.
Hope that helps.
