Recs from the SS/HG gift fest
My gift (the gift for me?) has been posted over at sshg_giftfest and it's simply fabulous! I believe this is the first time I receive a whole comic. Leaflet. Or how you'd call it. Thank you so much, Mystery Artist (who I suspect being edolin) for Severus Snape's Advanced Chocolate Making. Also the title is delicious, I know.
Other favourites of mine in the fest, so far, have been (in random order):
- Present, Past, Potential (fic) Summary: Hermione reappears after years of absence, and Severus finds he likes her company. But there’s something not quite right.
- Embrace (craft) Summary: Item 1: Snape and Granger, in an passionate embrace. I would imagine that she overpowered him, which is why they're laying on the floor.
- Severus Snipe (fic) Summary: Rolf and Luna take Hermione snipe hunting. She catches a different sort of snipe than she intended.
- Happily Ever After the Fact (fic NC17) Summary: Hermione receives a letter from the Ministry informing her of a bit of new legislation, and attempts to deal with it in a unique way. My nod to the genre of Marriage Law fics [...]
- Mistress of the Stacks (fic NC17) Summary: An archaic danger is rampaging through the Hogwarts Library, and it is up to Headmaster Snape and Mistress Granger to solve the mystery in the stacks. But can they overcome their contentious history to fix the problem, or is history doomed to repeat itself?
I'm sorry I don't have the time to elaborate further on their merits, but I consider myself lucky enough that I got to writing down this list before forgetting completely.
