It's Easter. In accordance with tradition, my parents woke me up by calling and singing "Here Comes Peter Cottontail (Hopping Down the Bunny Trail)" with great gusto. We tried to do a three-way call to sophonisba, but when sophonisba is sleeping and her phone rings, she just doesn't answer it. So we sang to her voicemail.
aardvark_gumbo told me that there would be a belated Easter package. I'm so excited. I always get a little depressed at Easter when I'm not with my family; I miss dying eggs and having Easter baskets. My grandmother sent me an Easter card, though--with an Easter cheque enclosed. It just about covered my recent Amazon TV on DVD frenzy.
My cold has worsened, and it is grey and rainy outside. I am drinking hot tea and considering lunch. What I really need to do is go through all my virtual worlds seminar readings and start making up notes for my section of the collaborative class wiki, especially since I have to do a presentation on the subject for the social psychology brown bag on Friday.
To recap, what I am actually doing: posting on LJ and considering lunch. What I was doing earlier: playing CoV until my eyeballs fell out. OMG. Thanks so much, travspence; I can already tell I'm going to end up buying the damn thing. My Mastermind, Dr. Gathman, is level 8 now and can summon TWO killer robots: Lucyferkins and Humphreythumbs. Childhood pets.
uTorrent estimates that I will have the second season of House in... 4 1/2 days. Does anyone know any tricks for speeding that up? Also, does anyone have a torrent link for the first season of Cold Case?
