I am totally going to get paid $20 an hour for some psych study that involves being MRI'd and, like, magnetized (or something) while doing short-term memory tasks--and the whole thing will probably take 3-4 hours.
There was a bad moment where it sounded like my tattoos might be a deal-breaker, but fortunately they were all done (well) after 1995, and thus should not contain metal that could potentially heat up like the Dark Mark in the MRI machine. Hooray!
The lady who screened me over the phone sounded very nice. I think she was Australian.
