Imperial Kimswick
So yesterday I was really tired, on account of once again getting very little sleep on Tuesday night, so I went to bed at 7:30 thinking, Ah, I will go to bed super early and wake up early-ish and be all well-rested and shit!
Sadly, I woke up three hours later and tossed and turned for an hour after that before conceding defeat, getting up, and watching some season 3 Due South. I went back to bed around 1, and had a really hard time getting to sleep because it was HOT. Even with the kitchen window open. Fucking weather and that guy in #5, whoever he is, who controls the heat. Although it is a converted old house so it's probably mostly not his fault.
I dreamt that I called B. the landlord about the entrance way floor. I probably should actually do that, since I'm taking the cats to my parents' house for break, and it would be ideal if he could get that cleaned and sanded while they're not around to get in the way.
Have created the Grand Duchy of Imperial Kimswick (named for two towns that always end up on signs together on I-55, and which I always thought would be a great name for a duchy) on Nation States. Thanks, wickedqueen, I needed that. :p
My presentation in self & identity seemed to go well today. Now I just have to write my laughter-in-cognitive-tasks-in-survey-interviews paper this weekend, and the semester will come to a close. Whee.
