All hail the naan!
Yay, my insurance card has arrived!
Chris and I went out with a couple of friends for dinner, last night. It was the first time any of us have ever tried Indian food. This was a huge leap of faith on the part of the boys, allowing us girls to drag them along to this place. Well, we got there, and the waiter began by telling us we can go ahead and start at the buffet. When we protested that we would actually like to take a look at the menu, he stated that anything from the menu would take too long and to just go to the buffet, and then left, without giving us a choice. Well, giggling over that bit, we all went over and just sampled a little bit of everything. Let me just say that I don't think there was a single dish that wasn't spicy. Some of it was really good. Some of it was too spicy to appreciate. ;) But most of all, I must praise the naan. That stuff was the best part of the entire meal. They bring it, like rolls at your typical american restaurant, to the table in little baskets. We actually ordered an extra round, that stuff was so good, and it did a good job of killing some of the heat. Man, I would almost go back just for that stuff. Of course, we had to go out for ice cream afterwards. ;)
