Chas was sprawled out on the bed he and John shared, reading the bookcase's latest choice - something about guitar-playing for dummies. It wasn't that interesting, but it was something to do that wasn't walking or swimming.

John wandered back into their room and stretched out next to Chas, looking a bit mussed and quite please with himself.

He caught sight of the title and laughed, "Thought you didn't want to start the band up again."

He rolled his eyes and tossed the book aside. "Ha fucking ha, John."

He twisted his side to give John a kiss on the cheek. "You looked pleased."

John grinned and kissed Chas deeply, "I'm in a very good mood right now. How're you, love?"

"Good," he answered, once he'd gotten his breath back. "Dare I ask why?"
