Personality; Being a prince of hell, a son of Satan, and one of the eight kings (the king of earth) he is a force to be reckoned with. He's pretty damn tough. He isn't necessarily cocky in an overcompensating way, but he's a big shot. He's sure of his powers and his abilities to take you down. He rolls with the big boys and can hold his own in a fight. As Shura put it: "[it's] pretty impossible for any exorcist to beat him." He's no small fry, when he fights, when he really fights, he puts his all into it. He isn't the type to rely on anything like magic, or weapons, or special incantations. He, very much like the earth itself, relies on his own raw powers. His weapons of choice are his fists and his ability to manipulate the earth. Like most demons, he enjoys a good fight every now and then. If said fight so happens to lead to killing someone, then so be it.
His interests in fighting aside; he's actually pretty mellow, for a demon anyways. He has a somber demeanor, and is usually very calm and collected in most situations. In fact he kind of has a childlike curiosity about him. When it comes to being in new places he would rather drop everything he's doing in order to familiarize himself more with his surroundings. He likes to learn, in fact when he was meeting up with his older brother, Mephisto Pheles, he derailed the conversation into wanting to go on a tour later. He brushed up on various games that Japanese kids seemed to enjoy.
He can be very childish at times. Especially when someone tries to stop him from having fun. Like a child, he tends to throw tantrums when he's pulled apart from a fight. He gets extremely flustered when someone laughs at him and will go to great lengths to silence whoever was the cause of such laughter. For example, Konekomaru accidentally shot a firecracker at him and Shiemi during the camping trip. The firecracker ended up hitting his horn and caused it to puff up like a broccoli. He kicked Shima (who was the person who laughed at him) broke Konekomaru's arm with his fingernail, and chocked Bon. His actions and movements are also kind of childish. When he's jumping away from something he says "byooon." When he makes his first appearance he's seen using his fingers like they're binoculars. He views the world as a giant playground, and if he has the time, he'll play right on along.
He's extremely determined. As soon as he sets his mind to do something, he'll see it to the end. He is an unstoppable force, he does what he wants when he wants, regardless of the consequences. And because of this he can be extremely brash and can often times have headstrong moments. He has no restraint when it comes to these things. In fact, on numerous occasions during the camping trip, he turns to his brother and asks if he could just kill one student. Of course his request is denied and he gets slapped into a tree for even wanting to devour one of Mephisto's students. But even then the scolding he gets goes unheard as he tunes his brother out in favor for the battle at hand.
Just like his brother, Amaimon has a penchant for sweets. He's almost constantly seen with a lollipop in his mouth or eating a bag of candy. He seems to enjoy Mephisto's stash of sugary treats the most. When he's taken a liking to something he tends to bit his thumb or nails.
The important people in his life, besides his father, are his siblings Mephisto Pheles and Rin Okumura. He views Mephisto as an older brother and nothing more then that. Mephisto kind of... keeps Amaimon in line. He tries to curb his younger brothers urges to kill people. And as for Rin, he finds him... interesting. At first he never really understood why his father and Mephisto took such great interests in him. In fact he views Rin to be extremely weak at first, but soon after their first fight he sort of understands why they've taken an interest. Every time they engage in battle, Amaimon tries to urge Rin to fight with all of his power.

There was something that involved Rin.... and fighting. Upon realization his eyes shot open wide as he looked around the vast space he was in. That's right, he was fighting with his brother before Mephisto rudely interrupted him and locked him in time out.
Amaimon frowned as he stared listlessly at the door in front of him. This was unfair! He looked down and clenched his fists and then looked back up at the door again. The only way out of this would be if aniue let me out himself, Amaimon thought as he touched the door. But-- it would be worth a shot to just try. And with that he pounded his fists against the door.
Unfortunately for him, the door stood still and unmoving. In fact, it looked like it hadn't even retained any damages at all! Furiously, he kicked the door and turned around and floated off elsewhere. This was completely unfair of aniue! He wanted to fight dammit! Rin was his, and the fight was just starting to get interesting! Sighing he rolled over to where he was floating on his back.
He was completely alone. This was his first time in which he was completely alone. Usually he was either accompanied with his familiar, Behemoth. But this time... He looked over at the door and idly wondered how his familiar was fairing. He was certain Behemoth could take care of himself, but... would he miss him? What would those humans do to him if he couldn't handle himself. Idly, he drew his thumb into his mouth and gnawed on it as he rolled over. His gaze wandering on over to the door once more as he wondered when his brother would release him from time out.
If he was thrown in here to calm down, then it had definitely worked. All this was doing now was making him restless. He was curious, he wanted to know what was going on outside. What happened to his familiar? What of Rin? What of the forest?
What if Mephisto never let him out? Surely aniue wouldn't do that to me. He thought as he bit his thumb some more. He's probably just waiting for the right time to let me out.
