SUPES. BRO. At least you got a semi-useful one.

[And he eyes his Zubat angrily.]

Semi-useful one?! Have you seen it? It's a monkey.

[And while you're glaring angrily at your Zubat he's gonna give his Aipom the stink eye.]

Dude. I got a bat. Not only is it worthless, IT'S IRONIC TO A PAINFUL DEGREE.

Do you even know it's skill-set yet?

I'd rather have a bat than a monkey. I HATE monkeys.

[he crosses his arms and stares.] No.

Dude, use the pokédex thing. Here, let me... [hacking time.]

You have no room to complain, he's already got a three move skill-set! Scratch, tail-whip and sand attack. Bats over here knows two. Leech life and supersonic. Neither of those actually do anything.

The what--? [he remains silent as Robin lists off it's attacks.] So is that all it knows?

Well yeah, but as you train him and level him up he'll learn more moves. And get stronger.

Wait. I gotta train this thing?

Reply

hackintheaster September 15 2011, 04:07:34 UTC
Yeah, dude, that's kind of the whole point. You train them and catch other ones and use them to fight other people's pokemon.

Why?

hackintheaster September 15 2011, 04:43:14 UTC
So you can become a pokémon master, duh.

allmyraeg September 15 2011, 04:50:20 UTC
Why? This does nothing but take away my time from training.

hackintheaster September 15 2011, 15:36:29 UTC
I dunno, dude. Maybe you could train with your pokémon?

Reply

allmyraeg September 15 2011, 17:29:36 UTC
I would never train with that thing.

It doesn't have to be with the monkey. You could go catch another one and train with that one. In most of the games I've played you never end up with your starter in your party by the time you play the Elite Four.

[well... that makes him feel better about things. He looks from the bouncing monkey to Robin. About to say something else he opens his mouth but stops.] Who are the Elite Four?
