HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
I am already anxious for the fireworks that will come tonight... I have looked forward to them since the ones ended last year. This is my favorite event that happens in decatur. I can't wait
so the past couple of days have been really good.
On saturday Dan, me, Cat, Richard, Morgan, and Jesse went out to the Wilder's cabin and played on the water all day. It was so much fun-- I am still sore from the tubing. I lost my bathing suit bottoms at one point...thank goodness Moduff found them floating around before I had to get back on the boat.
I attended a Smith Family reunion on Sunday in pulaski, tennessee and it was great. It is my dad's side of the family-- well papaw's side of my dad's family. We all wear color coded clothes to distinguish which branch of the smith family we are from. Our family is orange-- that is all of my papaw's brothers and sisters and their families. I pretty much only knew people from the orange crew bc there are about a million and one of us smiths. It was funny trying to figure out who was who and having relatives that I didn't know and who were too old to know they didn't know me either.... it was a good time.
When I got back, Julia and Matt invited Dan and me to go on a double date to huntsville. We ate at Macaroni Grill and it was GOOD. After that we came back to my house and watched the Ringer. That's one of mine and daniel's favorites. But we all had a fun time... just like we did back when we all first started dating 2 1/2 years ago. The boys quoted movies while the girls made fun of them and laughed. good times with some favorites of mine : )
Yesterday, I was lazy lazy. I didn't do homework, and I didn't do anything that could have been classified as productive. It feels pretty awful now bc I have so much to do in order to make up for my lazy spell yesterday.
Last night, my family all ate at red lobster and then I went home to get ready to go out. Dan and I went over to Christie Ledbetter's and played over there with his crew. I enjoyed it-- it was a good low key time.
We came in early and watched a little of Date Movie (which is not a good one, don't rent it) and then it was time for sleep.
Today, I have to be productive so that is why I didn't sleep in. I have been up since 730 actually. BOO for homework and responsibilities. Can't we all just be Joey on friends and never have anything to worry about? i wish.
My life is on a track that has some good scenery! I am liking the position I have formed myself in right now. I was so unhappy not too long ago with the way I was headed and the things that consumed me... but now I am getting back in the content zone. I wouldn't say things are perfect bc I know that is impossible, but just having a smile when I think about where I am right now is good enough for me.
My birthday is coming up in 20 days!

Well I am going to get the ball rolling on my productive day so that I can enjoy my independence night and FIREWORKS. yeeeeah
