Happy late Father's Day to my favorite man in the world- Jimmy Ray. I love my dad...he's got me under his big strong wing and I'm so thankful that he takes such good care of me... he's the greatest, and I love him more than he will ever know.
My family went to Elba last yesterday afternoon after church to see my Grandaddy farris... I didn't go because I was going to see the Allman Brothers @ City Stages in Bham. I felt bad for not going to see him, but I know he understands. I wrote him a sweet note and so maybe he forgives me.
The Allman brothers were amazing! I loved it so much... only problem was the heat...my gosh it was stifling. I had a good time with Dan and JP and some others... I even got a special treat! TAYLOR HICKS came out and sang a song and played harmonica with the brothers... I thought that was the coolest.... I love me some Soul Patrol
The week before this was a rough one. It was one of the hardest I've ever had to go through. I was walking in a daze practically trying to just escape. It still hurts looking back and thinking about having to deal with it...and how I was the only one who cared-- or so I thought. I'll never get a reason, im sure...and I know I'll never understand why anything could be so bad to have to put the one you love through a living hell. But, I forgive and forget and I know your heart and I know where you stand. That's all I ever needed anyway... just dont ever do that again.
Thanks to Rahlah, I survived... speaking of Miss Laura Lynn.... she's at the dad gum beach AGAIN. I believe I am going to have to kill her : ) haha noo i'd never make it without my skips... but I am jealous-- lots.... Hope she's having fun... jump in the ocean for me!
So life is morphing back into its normal state... I think I kinda like it...only because I need normality right now. I like it sometimes. You all know I'm not normal though, so this normal state can only last a little while before I cut loose.
I went to Rotary with my dad earlier... I always love going. I met Luther Strange that is running for Lt. Gov...I believe he's the tallest human being I've ever laid eyes on. Wow. He's a nice guy, and i feel bad for not knowing anything about the elections this year. I am unplugged.... I need to find out more.
But me and Jimmy Ray had a lunch date with all the other 100 men there : ) it was glorious!.. old men make me feel like the most important person on the face of the earth. If you need a little boost, just go to rotary with Jimmy Ray... it makes me smile.
hair cut time.... and some pool time with bec bec sollie: my long lost friend. yay!
see ya'll in later times.
love from a normal at the moment girl
