I HAVE FINISHED ONE MASSIVE SHAWL!!
it's the shawl that i've been working on using the 'wiggles' yarn. it looks cool. but it's annoying to work with. i still think i have one ball of this. but this shawl is massive. i just finished binding off.
i need to tuck in the ends. tucking in ends is always the end of me. argh. i forsee this shawl, being as it is acrylic, as a shawl i can take the to the park and sit on. or something. and just draping it over me when i'm cold in my apartment (hopefully not for 3 mos or so. damn! the summer is almost over!!!)
now onto my first 'lace' shawl using the cherry tree yarn that i got at Flying Fingers (http://www.flyingfingers.com ) about three years ago with the first batch of ACK girls.... speaking of! we are going to Flying Fingers this weekend on the YARN VAN!!! super fun!
