Day 1. I am happy because I have approximately...80 percent of my Christmas shopping done. This includes purty wrapping paper, on sale at Whitcoulls. I now have next to nothing to my name until Christmas Eve, but hey.
Also: After a couple of week's break, I am knitting again. Absolute bliss. How I missed it. Knitting a cute purple beanie for my snugglemonster aka Matt for Christmas. Using this yarn. Gorgeous. Baby blanket is on hold, as I need to do the border, and I've lost the pattern. My room has swallowed it. Along with my hair straightener.
Aw, and an update on the work situation- have got an "interview" for my current job this week. Ten of us will go home for Christmas, with our jobs safe. Three of us won't know until mid-January. I'm waiting to hear back about interviews for two jobs, one of which is looking rather promising. This'll be fun.
Expect a bitchy feminist post later in the week. Everyone loves those.
