Let me hear you say, this shit is bananas... B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

I had taken that picture a long time ago, and it's one of my favorites. I wish I could take more pictures like that of my dogs, but Tekio seems to be the only one who actually likes the camera, the other just turn away when I try to get their pics :)

Thank god for Photoshop that allows you to get the most of your night-shot pictures without being limited to the greenish look. I've been using night-shot even on daylight because it really helps to improve the resolution, in case the pixel count of the camera is too low, like mine. The only drawback is that you still have to work under monochromatic tones. but the results are better than the grainy pictures.

Last time I mentioned about something that happened that truly stirred me. The thing was that I received this call from one friend of my brother, whom he had talked before about my works on Photoshop and the web-design curses I had taken and that I was still assisting to back then, and he started telling me that they were interested in taking a look of what I have made and that if it could helped them they might offered me a position in their graphics design team.

Of course, I was kind of shocked all through the conversation, in a state of disbelief also, 'cause it just was so out of the blue, and my brother had mentioned that talk he had with his friend once, but it was like one year ago or something and I had forgotten almost completely. And well, at one moment he gave me some email address where I could send my stuff to, and that they'd call me.

I sent them my samples today, and I went a little crazy trying to find some stuff worthy, and well, I checked out and I have around 156 files done on Photoshop, between icons, backgrounds and random graphics, of which around ten or twelve were the only ones that I could send, 'cause the rest were too slashy or plain too random to be considered useful for a web-design based graphic company. I need to diversify my work ^_^ But I don't even know if that's what they were looking for, I sent them this whole site I had made as a final project for my class, but that as much as I've done with a focus on web-design, so that's why I'm not putting my hopes too high on this one, 'cause it really doesn't matter if it's my brother's friend who called.

But to tell the truth, yesterday I couldn't help feeling anxious and exciting about it, even if the conversation with that guy was pretty casual to even be considered a serious job proposition. It's funny how all of the sudden somebody might be interested about something that you usually do without much pretension of even showing it to anybody, I felt kinda embarrassed of sending stuff a that I haven't shown to anybody to a complete stranger, and gosh... It was just too much 'cause it's a first for me, so it was exciting yeah, in the midst of all my pessimism...

No calls today, but I really not thinking about it, and I don't ant to really, actually yesterday in the middle of that natural high this thing produced on me, I was planning on sit down and start making web graphics and stuff *_* But no, it doesn't help me getting all anxious about something and getting all illusioned 'cause it truly doesn't help me... it if happens it happens, and I'll see what I can do then, if it doesn't, well, I tried...

And then: 1. I'm still pretty upset that CN decided to get Foster's Home out of the air, same thing about Fox that didn't finish showing the last 5 episodes of Arrested Development 2nd season. I hat cable sometimes...

2. Before I forget about this, best videos of these year, so far: Doves - Black and White Town by Lynne Ramsay, Beck - EPro by Shynola, The Killers - Mr. Brightside by Sophie Muller, Thirteen Senses - Into the Fire by Sam Brown, Kasabian - Club Foot by WIZ, Morbo - Para Tí by Alejandro Lozano and Weezer - Beverly Hills by Marcus Siega... In that order. And hopefully I'm not missing any, I had my list written somewhere but I lost it. Come to think about it, Dom & Nick's work for this year has failed to impress...

3. Bend It Like Beckham... recommended, so smart and heartfelt, if only all teen comedies were like this...

4. I love this song... Go Neptunes!
