A series of unfortunate events

On Thursday my brother got in a bad car accident in which he was caught between two cars. He and the lady in front of him were stopped and the person behind my brother was not paying attention and ran into him going 55 mph. Needless to say that force caused him to hit the car in front of him, so the front and back of his Altima are crushed (let alone the fact that the entire body of the car is bent and out of alignment).

So I was driving out to take my brother to the doctors, as he is injured, yesterday when guess...just guess what happened! Yes, my five month old car, my baby, was injured. I was in the right lane because I was getting ready to turn and the garbage truck in the middle lane decided he wanted to do the same. So...the garbage truck merged into the back of my car. So now the side of my truck is beaten. The garbage man is a baby hurter!!!!

Ironically enough, the CHP (California Highway Patrol) officer that responded to the the accident was the same officer that responded to my brother's accident the day before. My brother and Rick drove out to the accident and when we were waiting for the garbage man's supervisor to arrive the two of them were talking about his accident. With regards to my accident, the officer came out and said that the garbage man was at fault. So hopefully my insurance will not go up, now that my insurance doesn't have to fight as to who was at fault.

So now I am just upset about my baby, oh yeah, and I am sick. Let me say this again...a series of unfortunate events. This week was not a good week to be in the Gold family.
