Heh, technically the old PC is still Ded but the Mac runs nicely. :D:D I have not named it yet. I have not even sexed it yet. Should this be a he or a she? No, I will not name it Michael, no matter how much coverage he gets. Hmmmm. I wish it was a laptop but we didn't have that kind of funding nor trust in the 9 year old to leave it be.
I'm entirely sick of MJ coverage no matter how amazing he may have been in the music industry. Seriously when a story of how his chimp, Bubbles, is enjoying retirement makes the same page as NK firing missiles, we have failed in journalism.
Read all of the Sookie Stackhouse novels except the last, which I don't know if I'll purchase as a hardcover. They are fun but I'm not that much in love. Sideswhich that girl is a supernatural-loving slut. Just because you don't do the ultimate deed doesn't mean you aren't promiscuous. Like I said fun to read. ;) I am starting on the Jim Butcher series about the Furies. Nice so far. I just love the way he writes. I equally love both heroes and villains.
Work has been interesting. We are housed in the same building as the Alcohol Beverage Control. This week they held the quarterly classes on how to sell and serve alcohol which is required of all bartenders, waitresses, and quickie mart clerks. I've seen hair dyed every shade of the rainbow. Guys wearing larger earrings than the girls. And the boobage cleavage was in a close race to the butt cleavage. Not all of it pretty. *shivers* Best tattoo? Above said butt cleavage with Aerosmith looking wings logo touting "Wipe this way." Someone was seriously drunk that night.
Last mention of Boo was swimming in Fayetteville, which turned out great. He now has that final swim meet of the summer in which he tries one last time to make the state team. I know he can do it. Y'all keep him in your thoughts on the 11th.
Which happens to also be the date of a nice new episode of iCarly which I still adore.
