Birthday Wishes!
Happy Birthday Brian!
I love you, sweetheart.
Just a quick post to wish my beloved boy, caramida, the very best of birthdays!
I tried to start the morning off right for him with a homemade breakfast:
hot chocolate (not the powdered stuff)
chicken-fried (beef) bacon
home fried taters (made from leftover vinegary tater salad, mmmn.)
scrambled eggs
Then I ran off to work, but I left him wrapped in his new scarf. My secret birthday gift project. I'll try to post pictures of his ginormous crocheted birthday scarf soon. I'm pretty proud of it.
And I'm very proud of the birthday boy. Especially proud that he's decided to postpone his birthday dinner and "date night" tonight to work on his Cal application. Birthdays are very important, but so are dreams. And I want to be as supportive of that as possible. So tonight, we'll stay in, I'll make something yummy for dinner, or get take-out as a treat, and we'll go out another night.
I'm just pleased and grateful to get to spend another birthday with someone who has given me so much. I'm a lucky girl.
