gratitude and beauty
Went to Cirque du Soleil's new show here in SF, Corteo, last night.
WOW.
I am a very lucky and blessed person to have such amazing and generous friends.
Thanks again to steluch, caramida, enf, arthurdent and K.
Everything about the show was so beautiful. It was breath-taking. I loved the music and the acts and just, wow. What a wonderful experience. I think I even enjoyed it even more than Alegria. Though maybe just because it's new and fresh in my mind. I'm sad that it doesn't have a presence on their website as all the other shows have in the "spectaculera" section, which is so beautiful. Ah well.
Sadly arthurdent and his girl K could not join us as planned, due to sudden illness. So we had a last minute hunt for willing and available subsitutes in our little group. Fortunately, knaveofhearts and another friend of ours, Daniel, were able to grace us with their company [and help arthurdent and K recoup some of their expense]. Yay! Thanks to them for joining us! I feel badly that arthurdent and K missed it. I hope everyone is feeling better today.
I was going to buy them a souvenir program last night, but I didn't have any extra money with me, plus we were running late for the show. So I went online to order one today, but they're not available for Corteo. Nor do they have a cd for this show. Weird.
