I agreed to make a painting for my older cousin, for christmas, for her new apartment. Turns out to be a very, very hard task. She wanted a shot of New York City on three pieces of canvas. Each canvas is 22" wide and 28" tall. She wants them side by side so the whole piece is like 66" x 28".
Crazyness. It's really hard and I doubt that I'll be able to finish. Oh well.
I've already sent in my rising stars of manga entry so that's cool. My band is still on this long hiatus, but I've been making mp3s out of some of our tape recordings, to pass the time. I'd put them up somewhere but they're a pretty bad recording and our bassists wasn't there that day to play. Lately, I've been doing acoustic guitar stuff, which is fun. I may solidify all these songs and go into a studio to record them. Just to have them officially on tape so I can forget about them.
I've been out of high school for a while so I need to take the ACT to get into the college I want, University of Kansas. This is a pain but I think I can pass it easily. I wish I hadn't delayed entering college, but I kind of had to. It's caused all sorts of problems for me though. Oh well.
