Nine hours and counting until I embark upon another adventure at my home away from home,Huntsville Hospital. I am anxiously awaiting all the drugs, drains, and stories that these next few days will hold for me. I hope that this journal experience can be one to look back on in a few months/years and say "Marly Leighann Pooby, you have come a long way in the last little bit." My prayer is that this will be the LAST time I have to go to the hospital for a long time.
After being a lj stalker for months, I have finally caved in and joined the cult. I have always been a journaler(is that a word), but felt the need to try a bit of technology for my thoughts and daily happenings. Also, at times I have wanted to post a reply to many entries, but have never had the ability to do so without too much work.
Well, the lortab is starting to kick in and the cat is ready for the lights to go out so I'll end with a prayer:
Lord, I pray that you give me strength and peace of mind as I go through this operation today. Please be with my surgical team and nurses. I pray for a smooth and speedy recovery and please don't let me be too big of a bitch to my parents and nurses. Let the morphine be strong and effective! Also, thank you for my friends and I ask you to bless them as they go through this day. AMEN!
