busy bee
I never knew life as a college graduate could be so busy and full of emotions. I had a week of pleasure on my cruise to the Bahamas. The girls’ trip was so much fun. My fav parts of the trip besides getting to spend time with Mandy and Danielle would have to be snorkeling, the piano bar, and the FOOD! I ate the entire week and met so many interesting people.
Since my return from the Bahamas, I have been busy handing out resumes attempting to get an interview. I finally had my 1st and only interview at the end of June and things are looking very positive. I could very possibly be a 3rd grade teacher at a little rural school in Morgan County(Board pending). I am so excited and nervous about this opportunity. I have really prayed that God will put me where I am needed. Although, I have tried not to worry about getting a job it is a lot easier said than done. My stress level has peaked and I’m thankful I only had to go to one interview. Not my area of strength!
Father’s Day was also a very memorable day for my family. My parents, Ben, and I all went to my brother’s to grill out. Alicia(my sister-in-law) also had all her family there. Anyways, Jeremy and Alicia gave both dads’ pictures of my new little niece! She is absolutely beautiful! Everyone was so surprised because we weren’t expecting to get a picture of Baby Wonton until a year or so. We all cried and had a moment; it was something I will never forget. My brother is going to be such a great father! Her name is Addision Louise and she will probably be called Addie Lou. She enjoys going out for fun and eating biscuits.(this is what was written on her profile) She will be two when they go to get her in Sept. or Oct. I can not wait!!! Auntie M is ready to spoil and love her to death. Dad has even started making her a tea table. My life has been so blessed these past two months that I’m anxious to see what happens everyday. Other than spending time with family and job hunting my weekends have been filled with weddings. This Sat. Ben and I have 2 weddings to attend and one is Jana’s, that should be a production!
Guthrie's also opened in Cullman today and I am very happy! Good night and sleep tight!
