This goes out to all of the dudes stuck in a fantasy land where girls who work at strip clubs work the most interesting/fantastic/sexy job:
Yeah, working at a titty bar is extremely cool IF you like ruined relationships (or rather, guys that don't want to date you because of the potential of you being around other dudes -- most of which are scummy and unappealing), ruined social lives from where girls take off running when you tell them where you work because they think every stripper you work around might infect you cooties, and/or completely fucked up sleep schedules where you become nearly nocturnal (which might be okay unless you're like me, where I am sometimes required to be up before 4pm to be at the salon).
I wish I had known two years ago that my social life would be all shades of screwed up from working so much and at all of the wrong kinds of places. But, for the most part, I don't regret it. Instead, I just spend 25% of the time doing some sort of mythbusting about that industry and the people working in it.
