Its that time again..
I feel like I should give the annual back-to-school-first-day update.
1st period: Wind Ensamble. I dont even care. As bad as it sounds, I don't. I think our band is going to be pretty good this year. We didn't lose any amazing tallent from last year so I don't think we'll notice any huge differences. Im band president. Woot. Im looking fowarrd to playing and seeing how things will shape up...
2nd period: Gym/ sr lounge. I had gym today and I have Couvasockas. Cmon. It will seriously be my hardest class becuase she is a nazi. It was painful watching her today get up in front of the class and try to make jokes and ask us how much physical activity we did over the summer. I had Zgoda last year and I only went to 5 classes and still got a 98. I wonder how many classes you need to pass becuase thats all im doing. Gym is for sissys. And sports obsessed smelly boys.
3rd period: Jazz... which Marone doens't know that I have to drop 2nd semester. NUSTEP gov is only offered 2nd semester periods 1 and 3. Wind Ensamble is first and there is no way I can drop that.. so jazz is the only thing left. I talked to my parents and they want me taking the gov class.. so I guess I have to drop Jazz. Idk what hes going to do.. I dont want to drop but i do.. its confusing. I don't want to tell him though and let him down. Im doing it tomorrow so wish me luck!
4th period: calculus. I better learn alot for $240. Brooke is in my class so that should be fun. Math is dumb.
5th period: Economics. I have Mr. O'Day. We spent 25 minutes taking attendence and learning about the orgins of each person's name. It shoudl be a good 20 weeks. It's soooo weird being in a class with other people in my grade who aren't in honors. I didn't even know that some of these kids still went to our school. Weirrrrrd.
6th period: LUNCH!!!!! I have a lunch, after a long 2 years of not having one, I finally ahve one again. I like a lot of the people in my lunch, too. Rachel and I went for a walk to my car today only to find that my lunch had been stolen, yes stolen, and was probably in the stomach of some hungry band person. One cannot leave food in the band room and expect to find it again. I think I ate half of a box of some girl's oranges last year. Lunch should be a good time.. Im excited.
7th period: Music Theory 2. Its jsut not the same... Mr. Fronczek was an amazing teacher and Morrow is so blah. Im not looking foward to this. Thank god this other girl dropped becuase I could not stand her for another year. Rachel couldn't take the class becuase of French... Damn you forigen languages... damn you.
8th period: 12AP English. I love being in a class with all the honors kids who stuck it out through the 4 years. Theres only one class and i think theres about 30 of us.. maybe 28 but deff above 25. We had to fill out this sheet and tell him "as specifically as possible" what our post-highschool plans were. I felt like I was at another college visit. I think it should be a good year and Mr Camhi seems really cool.
9th period: Spanish 5. Soon to be a study hall. I realized today that I don't need to spend $180 to take a class that I wont need for college. Most of the schools im looking at require you to take a language class through them anyway. I alrady ahve the 4 years of language that is required so this class would just "look good". There is a strict attendance policy bc it is 9th period. You can't miss more than 3 classes or your grade drops a whole letter grade. I know the work is going to be challenging but thats nto why im dropping. Im already spening $500 on classes this year and that extra $180 would make it $680. I would have to take a class similar to that over again anyway so it is a waste of my time and money. Ok. Im glad I got that out of my system.
My stomach hurts becuase I ate Mac and Cheese too fast.
Yeah I have to lay down now.
