If you won't listen to my voice...

Then listen to my words.

Your Day of Silence is meant for those who cannot speak because of their sexual orientation, or religion, or ethnic identity. You revoke your voice for a day in protest of those who oppress them. You abide by the silence to know what it's like, not being able to speak, whether or not you've experienced it before.

Well I too cannot speak out. I must live by the silence because I have no other option. Is what I live with any less severe than what they do? Do I not fall within the same category of those whom you would silence yourselves for despite the fact that my silence isn't a matter of sexual orientation, or religion, or ethnic identity? Is my plight any different from theirs just because what oppresses me isn't a government or a society? Is the Day of Silence not FOR ALL people who cannot speak out?

I do not want to remain silent any longer. I've been silent long enough. I want to SCREAM; scream for myself and for all those who CANNOT. So FUCK YOU for not having an open mind and FUCK YOU for not trusting me.

It shouldn't matter what I choose to scream, just the opportunity to let it come from me and travel as far as I want. So why does it matter that we'll scream cookies when for just the same reason you will scream nothing?
