First and foremost...I'm Alive!!! Yes, I survived the plane, both ways. Although which was a lil scary was that when we were taking off there was a bunch of unusual shaking and rumbling in the plane and the pilot and stewards addressed everyone that it was normal, and all I could hear was a guy in the back screaming that they were "Fucking liars". But other than that the plane ride was fine-coming and going. Things down in Florida went cool as well. Temperature was like 95 and up the whole time I was there. I got a mini-tan, nothing special-it was only for the weekend.
Before I forget, I didn't write about Friday at the St. Saviour prom. Yeah, well lemme dive into that right now actually. Well, I had a busy day, Friday, I had to do a number of things and me going to bed that Thursday at 6 in the morning wasn't the best of ideas, because it led me to start mildly late in what I needed to do. It worked out that I needed to get kitty litter for the cats, get Melissa (my date for the night) her corsage, shoot over and try to get a shape-up, then I had to hop the A-Train and get to St. Lukes-Roosevelt on 59th, then take a cab to Adam's crib on 35th and Lex-get the liqs, and finally get the 4-Train to 14th and then take the L-Train to 6th Ave. where I transferred again to get the F-Train. I then got to Steph's house at like 6:40 and the limo was due at 7. She looked very pretty as did Melissa. It's stupid to delve into how I ended up with Melissa as my date, but if you truly want to know, just comment that you want to know. ANYWHOOO, Gilberto and I got changed and whatnot, and we got into the limo and went to the Plaza. The limo driver was an asshole. I told him that I needed to get dropped off in Washington Heights like at 4, he looked at me and got really shady. He was saying he didn't want to make a trip like that. He also told Gilberto that he was, for a fact, not driving to Jamaica, Queens. What the fuck were we paying this guy for? Anyway, at the prom, it was practically a Xavier reunion. I saw Pepe there, Paul Policastro, Frank Esposito, Mike Leopoldi, Rob Caridi, and other heads from Xavier I didn't know but have seen around. Overall the night was awesome. At least my date danced with me. More like I convinced her to dance. She didn't want to but I guess I was an evil manipulative elf that night. But I danced with a lot of girls from that prom, not just my date, and I must admit I had a great time. I was sweating from all the dancing. I swear, I was getting so freaky with Stephanie at one point, that I think the nun's nipples got hard. Gross. Bad association, Chris. But nonetheless, it was a fun night. After the prom Steph made plans for all for of us (Gilberto, Steph, Mel, and I) to go to Dangerfield's Comedy Club. Shyt was sooo funny! I laughed so hard yo it was incredible. Then I had to get my butt home cuz I had to get ready for my flight in the dwindling hours I had left.
Ya know what I thought was weird though? What I thought what was weird was that Melissa was acting a lot like as if...well...as if we were like boyfriend and girlfriend. Like I was sweating and I had just finished dancing with Kamilla and I walked over to her to see how she was doing. I apologized for my appearance and she wiped my forehead. And what made it a little bit weirder than it would have been was that she did it bare-handed. Now, I could understand that if she did it with a hankerchief or a napikan, but raw-dog style and with her hand was a lil bit of a shock. Considering I hardly know her and I've talked to her twice, she was willing to wipe my head no prollem. I dunno, she was really acting like as if we've been a couple for years. It just took me by surprise that's all like at how amazingly comfortable she was. All the while, when I talked to this girl on the phone she couldn't say a fucking word and she didn't know how to make much conversation. So blah blah blah, that was Friday. I wish I had time to stay and have the fun that the rest of the people did. But I had good reason to leave. It was Arianna's baptism and I don't think I woulda passed that up.
P.S. If anybody wants to play basketball, please let me know. I'm dying to play basketball. Like it's a passion. Let me know if anybody wants to ball.
