Seems like the HCL sequel is not going to happen after all. At least not with Daniel MacIvor's script. Or, well, with his script maybe, but it's not quite what we thought it would be.

Aww, man. I guess it kinda makes sense. Wasn't HCL first written for female roles until HD and CKR came onto the scene?

In Michael Turner's book, the reunion tour is actually an "unplugged" acoustic one. During the screenwriting process, other suggestions were made - at one point, Bruce McDonald slated the idea that perhaps Hard Core Logo could be an all-girl band instead.

but! you are both right? (because noel had already written drafts of the script with two guys - the way he writes about the girl-band idea from bruce, it sounds like he was a TINY BIT STRESSED at the suggestion, coming when it did.)
