Men With Guns - part 1
The movie starts with two losers (Lucas and Eddie) sitting around in a ratty flat and discussing the times in their life when they were humiliated. Which is a pretty good opening actually.

Lucas and Eddie are sent to collect some money for a local club owner. This will so not have a good ending. These guys practically have loser written on their foreheads. Hey, the owner is blind Lew from MotB. Cool. At the farm they are brutally attacked (see?) and humiliated (ouch) by a group of thugs. Hey, one of the thugs is Frasers landlord. Cool.

Before I can get too impatient (we are ten minutes into the movie already) CKR finally appears. And yes. That's a very nice first shot of him. Strange sun glasses. Hm. But they look good on him. I'm so surprised.

He seems a bit undecided on what he wants to do. Nervous. He's pretty when he's nervous. Nice. Hey, that's brooklinegirl's icon. Cool.

He finally makes up his mind and goes into the diner where he asks for someone named Easy Gary. He has to ask twice because the first time he only managed a whisper. Cute.

The director has a thing for CKR's hands. Well. Who doesn't?

He finds Easy Gary in a booth in the back of the diner.

EG is a creepy guy with a hat and a mustache who looks like he lives in a Robert de Niro movie. Hm. Why not.

Oh, CKR tries to buy guns from EG.

The director has a thing for CKR's hands.

EG asks CKR if he'a serial killer. CKR asks if he looks like a serial killer. EG says yes. Hee. CKR looks somewhat out of his depth. And a bit stoned actually. Which he is. He took some pills outside, I forgot to mention that. God, he's cute in this movie.

EG tells CKR that he doesn't do that guns thing anymore.

CKR is going to leave...

... but EG asks him for a favour. If he could bring some popsicles to his house? Of course he can.

CKR collects his two loser friends and some popsicles and they go to visit EG in his house.

EG shows them his collection of guns and his little kid. Creepy. Daddy sends the kid to get one of his guns for him. Even more creepy. Daddy gives our boys a bit of his strange philosophy along with his guns. CKR looks interested.

He asks CKR if he ever thought of killing himself. Sigh.

When his two loser friends have decided what kind of guns they want CKR lets us know that he's taking one as well (sigh).

The deal made, our boys emerge from EG's house.

CKR looks pensive.
