Highlight of the day was getting lost on the way to our apartment from the airport limo bus stop. We went round in circles for nearly an hour and good lord Korean addresses are IMPOSSIBLE to locate. Sungin-dong, Sinseol-dong, so many dongs so near each other hello for what. But what we did learn, is that the Korean people are extremely helpful. This kind uncle helped us pull one of our bags and asked everyone for directions (since he himself didn't know where the place was) until he brought us to the correct place. He must have spent at least half an hour helping us. While we were waiting for him outside the cafe this really h a n d s u m guy came up to us and conversed in Korean-accented English, asking if we needed help. Wah can die somemore is panting like pigs cos pull the bags until arm muscle strain. Oh well, what matters is that we're alive and well, and despite not possessing working phones managed to successfully meet Sybil, Steph, Jongtaek and his friend at Jonggak ha.
At a pub in Jonggak to watch the S. Korea-Uruguay match :)
Amount of eye candy in this place is u n b e l i e v a b l e
And oh my gad every single commercial stars a celebrity, and I really recognise every single one of them leh (most kpop fans will recognise the kpop ginnahs too of course, but try winning me for dramas pls la it is impossible ha) this is heaven.
But what is most disgusting is that both Weiqi and I have tried to access xinmsn but boohoo the videos cannot be played and I actually miss Singaporean TV. To some extent la ha TTT
