hong eun-ju s/s '09

recently i've been saving pictures of nice outfits that i see online. these photographs are from all over the place, fashion blogs, runway captures from style.com, etc. they've saved me a lot of time in putting outfits together - of course i don't have the money to afford runway pieces, but if it's a particular look you're striving to emulate, having details of an inspired outfit on hand can really help.

anyways enough about my habits, what i mean to say is that i was clicking around on feetmanseoul (the only reliable site for korean fashion updates, though the photos on zipia can be quite useful as well) when i stumbled upon the s/s '09 collection by hong eun ju (홍은주), as presented at seoul fashion week.

i cannot describe it save to say that it is like a hobo's dream come true. we like hobo-wear.. yes we do.

i wouldn't call her designs revolutionary, but how rare is it that you find a runway set that's so wearable?? and THE CLOTHES LOOK SO COMFORTABLE. there's an absence of prints in this collection (save for the mild grey floral).. but who knew dark brown went so well with strong pink/purple hues? haha

v cool v cool hehe i applaud

fashion etc, fluff, the dream country
