R.I.P. Claire's.
My store is closing on December 23rd and we just found out today.
I'm getting transferred to Mapleview as a 3rd Key, but with my assistant manager wage, so thats alright.
I'm so, so sad that I won't be working with Karley anymore. She's the best boss ever, and probably one of the best people I know.
I'm trying to stay positive about all of this. I've compiled a list of reasons I should be happy about going to Mapleview.
*My brother works at Mapleview, so I'll have a mall buddy.
*The staff at the store is really nice.
*The store at Mapleview is an Icing instead of Claire's, and Icing has cooler stuff most of the time.
*No more Centre Mall hooligans.
*At least I still have a job.
*I'll be working a bit less which gives me more time to do whatever.
*it's only one bus ride away.
*I'm not on anyone's shitlist at Mapleview (that I know of), whereas I am on several shitlists at Centre Mall. We'll give it a few weeks, though.
Ahhh! I just realized that I won't see my french boyfriend anymore. He works at some hand cream booth in Centre Mall and has a cute accent. I think I'll miss him the most.
