Christmas Cheer
Saturday: Rosie, dad and I went to starbucks and purchased 4 zillion
hot chocolates and took it around to the police doing traffic control
around market street and town center. Those poor people must have been
freezing!
Sunday: The whole family went downtown to see Handel's Messiah as
performed by the Houston Symphony followed by dinner at Benihana's for
my father's company's holiday party. It was a fantastically amazing
outing! I'm still not sure how we lucked-out... but dad got seats on
the second row. It was so close that I could see a strand of hair
dangling from the soprano's gown. The show was wonderful and flawless.
Living in Winston makes me better-appreciate having the local symphony
at our disposal. Remind me to donate some money to them when I have a
serious income.
This week is sure to be busy. I have an essay to write for my
study-abroad application, an essay to write for my FTE pc application,
AND a 20-minute presentation to prepare for the China trip. At least I
don't have any economic thought work to do!
