Birthdays
Turned the big 07 this weekend, or wass that ? Bet Yeager turned a multiple fraction of that today, complete with self-decorated cake and cupcakes...
Alto [this notebook keyboard gets me every time] we have a new member of the fam, shown here with the birthday girl, both looking uncharacteristically somber- BB does not like to be picted up (that either) and B.Y. mugging for the cam. The latter is the only one allowed to pic up Bun, he has hind claws like no tomorrow, and does not hesitate to use them!
We are doing OK, becoming regular Oregoonians, moss under armpits and all. Tall Guy has gotten into science magnet school and will have fewer hosers and non-serious students to deal with next year, she may be taller than me in a few... Nerds are not much valued in Middle School, at least by the average run of studes. She is very shy, and has had to plow her way at the new sch which has a dicstinkt rowdy element, now in her second year; xe has arrived at a distancing mod, loudly announces every fall that she spent the weekend in the woods with her license, creeping after the wiley musk ox, and that calms down the bozers something conciderable... Don't care if we see any deer, but a good exc to creep thru the woods in the fall, BY went with us this year, and has a remarkable pacifying effect on the bozers at Mt View Middle...
In several years have not yet seen deer, but did scare up a cow elk, which scared us as badly as the elk, and we gratefully allowed it to peacefully exit stage rear at Warp 4. It was as big as a heasre, no, hose, aw, hoss!
