We've finally broken down and gotten smart phones...
and luckily have a 5-year old and an 8-year old to show us how to use them!
Pat has gone the whole hog and gotten Faceboor, oops, -book! all programmed and all her groups expedited, and I got a Kyocera Torque, the smartphone "for people who liked their flip-phone", and incidentally nearly unbreakable.
Have attempted Lj on it a few times but almost more trouble than it's worth, my finger-toonies can barely work the keyboard. So I say, if I need a computer, get a computer! I did shorten my password, to make it attemptable at least... later learned if I turn the thing, the keyboard gets bigger!
If I don't watch the girls, either Bet Yeager will take off for parts unknown or I will find them engaged in training for WWF (is that right? Federation of Westling?) not to mention gouging and screaming...
It's spring break and I'm being Mr. Mom with the girls off. We went to the Portland Japanese Gardens this weekend, a very pretty, recently renovated venue. Washington Park is up over most of Ptland in elevation, and still much covered with towering evergreens, what much of the area must have once been like, will try to post photos later, my wifely conscience is telling me I should be in bed, or at least the shower!
