He also said 'April is the cruelest month.' But most of what he said was indeed wise in my perspective.

It is. The temperatures are at their hottest around June through August.

Chicago gets hot and humid, but I don't think it's as bad as you get in Vegas.

I've visited Chicago several times to lead a handful of Entomology seminars.

My stay was enjoyable. I visited the Museum of Science and Industry and the Lincoln Park Zoo.

We just had an interest exhibit at the Science and Industry on forensic science. I took a peek at it, it was well done.

I heard of the most recent exhibition. I sadly missed it but am glad to hear that it was enjoyed by someone.

It was really cute. They gave you a little checklist for a case you'd "solve" and they had a fake crime scene and lab. Of course, things weren't as gruesome as a real case, but they taught a lot of good science.
