If there is one thing I hate about bureaucracy, it is games of power and the money game. With our country facing an economic crisis, it is understandable that budgets will be cut. But when those cuts lead to cases "falling through the cracks" and the security of our morgues and crime labs being compromised because we become short-handed in our labs and trade experienced officers for cheap untrained civilian replacements as security? I grow angry.
First Sid was attacked in the morgue last month, and now Sinclair's firing seven lab techs because of budget constraints. One of whom happens to be a dear friend of mine and the best this city has. Adam has helped us close more important cases than most other labs can boast about. I know this lab is waiting on newer technology to allow for more efficient processing of DNA but no computer can ever replace Adam.
