Springboard 18: Weapons
Oh, you could say that in my area of the criminal justice system (that is, the morgue) there's no need for weapons.
But I'd tell you that you were wrong. There may not be dangerous criminals lurking in the basement but there are plenty of asinine detectives and more than a few stupid forensic technicians who all need to be held at bay from time to time. Wielding a scalpel usually works. So does a good threatening look or hand swat, particularly when you have those detectives Logan and Goren, I'm looking at you who insist on poking and prodding dead bodies or even *glare* eating over them.
My favorite weapon, hands down, however, is still the javelin. *smirk* One look at that, and the terrified newbies just skitter away.
