We had the conversation around the Eames family dinner table again. Dad's a cop, I'm a cop, little brother is a firefighter. Most of it is teasing at this point, but the undercurrent of Dad's disappointment is still there.
He'd have been happy to have us all follow in his footsteps. Mom would have been as happy if none of us did. I call him Joe Kennedy, which shuts him up pretty quickly.
