"It's strange to be back," said Camilla, surveying the mess that her dorm room had become. Stray wedding presents sat everywhere, and piles of laundry from their holiday that the house-elves had not yet taken away. "Not good, not bad precisely either, just strange. We had a whole villa to ourselves, you know, so now this room seems so small. I'm sure it'll be better once the clutter is all taken care of."
Her friend Susan, the intended audience of this soliloquy, appeared to have found an ashtray amongst the clutter on the desk. "Thank God," Camilla exclaimed, seeing it. "I hadn't the faintest idea where that had gotten to. I've been using a water glass."
