Abandon Tradition

the Abandon Tradition movement of the sixties has not been
marginalized
but cast off,
written away,
put into the perspective
history always provides.

and through hindsight I see a generation caught in
Extended Adolescents.
a generation that claimed would never grow old
finally did,
though it is not the
suit and tie
that makes them old.

what was achieved:
social upheaval and
a lost opportunity.
