MSP WAS THE GREATEST
Mission Service Project was totally awesome in two very different ways...lemme explain to u wat it is
- mission service project is an event that occrus once a year..about 30 churchs from arounf texas and misourri .....fix the needies houses......fix roof's walls,insulation so on..thats on the awesome parts
-my church hosted a church from lytle9 a town close to san antonio)...and thats anoher awesome part
- it started for me on sunday.... i went a day late and everyone was already there......o yea we sleep in side the church...liek in my case at the holy spirit hall....and when i got there i saw a girl...amanda and she caught my eye...well anyways ......i talked 2 her and her freinds for a while...n then they left to visit thehouse they were gonna work on and same her.....when i got to the house..the house didnt look 2 bad from the outside.....it looked liek one of the best houses in the neighborhood.......the barrio...and boy did i have a surprise.........when we went inside we realized that the house had not inside walls...no ceiling..no insulaton...it was just a shell...boy did we have HUGE TASK AHEAD OF US........
- the work day started monday...we left church at 7....rode the van for about 25 till we got to the worksite....we worked until 5......the first day was very hard....liek iwasnt used to it....we had 2 put ut sheet rock walls and put insulation......after we were done.. we went to veterans memorial where we showered and ate dinner with the rest of the teams from other churches...durrign dnner amanda invited me 2 sit with her.......and alex fitch and another alex..followed....they are old family freinds...that would mark how msp woudl b the rest of the week...hanging out with amanda an her feinda ll week....well ijust basically talked 2 amanda..... after dinner we went holy spirit to the hall....its lieka gym...n we played basketball n stuff.soccer it was fun n that was the first day.....and was basically the routine for the whole week
-next day same thing.....put insutlation..and itchy foam padding that keeps houses temperture regulated..put sheetrock..and sheetrock on the ceiling..that was a bitch...went to shower,dinner, once again with amanda.....went to the hall and same story...
-next day put filler along all the psaces between sheetrock.....iw as starting to get used to it n wasnt as bad..but still abitch...went veterans same story....me n amanda started talkin alot more.....ALOT...at night we owuld text n wede sneack out of the rroms we were supsoed 2 b in and would just talk on the benches by the fountain(for those of u who go 2 holy spirit).....talked n stuff....that was everyday for the rest of the week..somedays mostly everyone just went to the kitchen while the odler adults slept...some liek 20 year old adults ans stuff liek rigo came with us...just talked and pigged out in the kitchen..hahawell o yea the group from holy spirit consisted of liek 10 ppl n theirs of 14....o yea wednesday we went to mr funs....rented otu the place....rode go kars consecutive for 2 hours..rode double with amanda thw whoel time took turns on the steering wheel.....loads of fun althouhg i almost got her illed a few times.....one tiem we hit head one with some other dud haha...other times just side swiped n stuff haha...ti was badass...
-well yea the first 3 days the family we were helping was very shy.....n woudl avoid us if all possible...but sowly they started opening up and talking to...us thursday we toook fajitas n the lady cooked for us....it was good....they had four kids.....2 4 year olds actually one 5..a 1o year old girl named laura..and a 13 yearold gangsta...
-the next days me n amanda satrted talkin alot alot alot more to the point that the leader talked to me that i need to b more with the group n al this shit..haha
-well yeafriday was uposed to the b the last day....but we didnt finish it was too long of a job so we went back an xtra day saturday........ well anyways friday amandas last whoel day ther(she left saturday morning)i talked to her alot..n she todl me how much she was gonna mis me...n all this stuff......we went out to the courtayrd again...talked laot.....n when i todl her goodnite..she started crying..i was liek omg.....the next morning was bad......we took pictures n all this stuff.... n she started crying when we said bye to eachtother and hugged...i was like damn...she left .//along with her group..adn our group went back to work...we finsished the house around 4......when we were leaving and talkig to the family....the dughter started sobbing.......i was liek damn..we changed the families life........she was particularly happy bc we adaed a room for her...and karisma had her mom bring purple paint for her n stuff.....it was very touching....
well yea thats a summary of the last week...THERES A WHOLE LOT OF STUF FTHATS MISSING ITS JUST WAYYYY TOOOOO MUCH ....i could right 10 times wat i wrote there..easily
-well me and manda having been talking through aim.....and shes called me liek 5 times today its kinda odd specially bc she has a boyfreind.....she said she thinks abotu me more than him..it really weird and dumb bc im liek 4 hourse away..but w/e i dunno wat to do......
