Today was the most awesome day ever. Jonny, his friends, and I went double dating at Six Flags America today. I was really surprised that it wasn't too crowded (being the weekend and all), plus we all have season passes-we got in for free.
The only thing that pretty much had my heart going more than 150 per beat were all of the roller coasters. I was scared to go on them; I find them overwhelming. But they made me go kicking and screaming anyway. I had fun though (as soon as the ride was over, and I could get air back into my lungs).
I did enjoy one coaster though, the Skull Mountain coaster at Pirate's Cove. I remember going on that ride with my cousin when we were about 12 and 14 years old. The only thing changed was the fact that the coaster no longer went backwards (maybe there were some complaints in safety, I don't know.).
Of the coasters that I gladly didn't go on (the Superman: Man of Steel) and the Mind Eraser, I got to see the classic but hilarious look on Jonny's face, when the coaster went down the 300 foot slope and going the cork-screw (which happened to be near my head).
All in all, I had a great time.. What I've gained from the experience was going on a LOT of coaster rides, and being with my boyfriend. What I lost, my voice.
