A Valentine's Day... thing (Edoraslass says it's too long to be a "drabble") for you!

Morning Tea
AU - Mary Sue (I'll surprise you with fandoms)
Warnings: Slashy, Sexy, Tea-y
Disclaimer: Yes, dammit, it IS a Mary Sue, but trust me on this. Replace "Mary" with your own name when reading. You'll thank me.

It's like a really kick-ass Valentine's Day card, isn't it? Like you could open it now and read the message: "Wishing you many sizzling three-ways with brainy, upper-crust English boys," in big red florid letters. You always do care enough to send the very best.

Must off to work, now, and if there are any repercussions to not being able to get this look off my face while talking to the co-workers... actually, I'll probably forgive you unhesitatingly, dammit.

Nothing more fun than being forced to write out a fantasy in detail!

She stared as his long neck and remembered running her tongue slowly up it to his jaw. She wanted to walk over to him and do that again.
What, did she wake up not liking men? DO IT OMG.

She was not going to stare at him. She begged herself not to start giggling.
Pshaw. I would FAIL miserably at either one of those options. Staring and giggling all the way!

There's probably something wrong with me that I'm totally fixated on James making scones.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Scones and tea. And I still have that pic of his tea set you sent me on my desktop at work. Someone asked me, today, why I had a tea set on my screen. I said I just found it "comforting."

*snort*

His golden curls were still wet and clinging to his neck, and he was still drying the ends of his hair with the towel hanging around his shoulders.
Have I told you how extremely vividly I can picture then, and how extremely distracting it is?

Look at the pic in the silly hat, then click over to the coffee smirk. It should be fatal.

Can I have your little Scruffington?

LOVE the bit where "Freddy" ("I am, in fact, the Earl of Edrington") asks James if he likes the scones with the tea.

Well, Jesus, who wouldn't.

Re thinking of James making scones, there is an old song by (I think) Nazareth, called "Feel Like Making Love". Someone did a Weird Al to it and came out with a version called "Feel Like Making Scones".

I love the fact that James and Mary look wrecked but "Freddy" looks like he's just stepped off the pages of GQ.

Heh. Thanks WEL. That whole thing with the scones hurt my head (and other parts of my anatomy) to write. I love tea, and scones with tea is some serious comfort, but anytime I write Edrington, he takes over the story, and it gets... well... like that!

I have to find that "Feel Like Making Scones" song!

And of course, Freddy looks like he's just stepped off the pages of GQ! Of course, he does. Although, he didn't shave, and I'm certain it was on purpose.
