Tonight: was FREEZING in class, silly me in my work skirt/half-blazer-thing/heels and no jacket. Speed-walked on my break to get a latte (extra hot - for the first time, I was one of *those* coffee people, ordering it "extra hot"), and then got home feeling keeee-razy on the caffeine. Knocked out all of my homework & test for that class for the week, which rules, because now I can get my vacation on without being like "ethnocentrism" and "social stratification". Except now it's 11:40 and I'm WIRED, and I was planning on getting to work stupid-early since the day's cut short for...
Tomorrow: we are having our annual business meeting. The theme is "Red, White, and Blue...For You." Nope, not kidding. They give out pretty cool prizes for the departments who dress up the best, and mine usually "goes for it". There are lady liberty get-ups and abraham lincoln get-ups. Guess which one I chose? I am gonna rock it. It's a big old black hat, and the beard is attached. In the picture, it looked all dignified. When it came in, I actually cried from laughing. There was like a trail of black fur all over my desk because this beard is so...beardy. It's like Tom Hanks/Castaway/Day 500 (with some black dye), mixed with a very wise Amish man, mixed with a well-dressed homeless muppet. However, at least I will not be wearing a green toga-sheet.
