Class...was surprisingly not boring. :D

My teacher happens to be my Academic Advisor (OMG I know who it is this semester!), as well as the teacher in charge of the Study Abroad program. She's pretty cool, and has a great sense of humor. So far, that's two teachers I'm already looking forward to having.

The class itself focuses on communication between different cultures, but she did mention she's going to focus a lot more on Japanese culture than anything else. (*insert cheering here*). And me, being the Japan-obsessed freak I am...this was a great surprise. ^__^

Also saw a few friends today, which was really nice. One of them happened to be my friend Eric, who I haven't seen in a good few years. He and I used to be babysat together by my neighbor, and I think the last time I saw him was when I was working at Blockbuster. He's going to CCM for business, and I'm really hoping to see him more often. It looks like he's matured a lot since we were kids. ^^;

Mom doesn't remember him, but asked if I planned on seeing him more often. ¬¬ Very subtle, Mom. I think she's seriously getting to that stage where she wants me to settle down with someone and start a family. ~_~

Speaking of my mom....she told me today she has to go in for surgery next month. She's had this "wart" on her chin for a good two months, and she had it removed a week or so ago. Well, they did a biopsy, and apparently, it was cancerous. .__. So they want to bring her in so they can make sure there's no more floating around and stuff. I hope they don't find anything.

On a totally different note...my left eyelid is swollen. O_o I don't know why, but it hurts to blink or squeeze my eye shut. Mom thinks it may because I've been wearing make-up the last few days (Shut up. Not one word.), but Elyse thinks it may be a stye. Either way, it's a right pain in my ass and I hope it goes away. Like, right now. Along with the pains my legs. @_@ Who knew trekking around college could be so painful? Geez, it wasn't like this the last few semesters...and I even parked in a spot where I didn't have to climb the Giant Hills of Doom. Oi.

This just goes to prove I'm overweight and seriously need to start excersizing.

...and I have work tomorrow all day. Joy. -_-
