(no subject)
I was just involved in a car accident. By just, I mean two hours ago. That's how long it took to sort everything out. I was hit by a fucking U Haul truck, the massive kind. The total twat who was driving made an illegal turn and hit the front, left side of my car. The guy didn't stop when he realized that he had hit me head on and in trying to ameliorate the situation, continued his turn. This, in turn, fucked up the entire left side of my car, turning the front into an accordion, with stuff coming out. My entire left side is fucked. Thankfully, he was going pretty slowly, so I was fine. It just scared the living shit out of me to see a huge truck coming at me. The police came, and he was ticketed. I get to drive a lovely rental car for a few days. Corollaxcore. I forgot to mention that this happened on the street where I live. One block more, and I would have been gold.
Edited to add: I half-expected to see the cliché "life flashing before my eyes" moment. It was actually more like FFFuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkkk!!!!!!!! in super slow motion.
