Hey ya'll. This will probably be a short update because I need to get back in the living room soon before Kelsi discovers that I'm gone and comes after me. She recorded some show that came on last night called "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and wants me to watch the entire two hours of it with her. I have so far watched about 15 minutes of it and used the famous "I have to go to the bathroom" excuse and I scooted on out of the room. Just can't say that that show is my type of show to watch, although I guess I will be brave and watch it with Kelsi.
Heard from my family down in Georgia and they are all doing fine. I was worried about Jeanne moving through Georgia but luckily not much damage was done where they live, just some flooding which has caused them to stay home and not go anywhere. I hope this is the last hurricane/tropical storm for a long time because really, having all these destructive storms is ridiculous.
Looks like I have a few moments to spare, I hear Kelsi on the phone talking to someone about the makeover show, never seen her so excited about a show before. Sheesh. She came to North Carolina Saturday night and surprised me. Was singing "Hangin' Around" just before the end of the show and about halfway through the song I hear a voice that sounded like Kelsi's singing along and then the crowd gets even rowdier than they were before. Turn around and Kelsi is walking on stage, holding a mic and singing along. It was great to see her. We have taken a lot of time to talk things out and get to know things about each other. I'm not doing another concert until the 8th so that gives us about 2 weeks of "us" time. Looking forward to meeting Kim later this week, have heard about her nonstop. Kelsi is yelling for me now so I got to go. Have a great rest of your night everyone!
