Watched "City of God" and it was sooooooo good. It was like "Menace II Society", "Boyz In Da Hood" and "Blow" all in one with English subtitles since it's a Brazilian movie. I like how Rocket kept saying "Cidade Do Deus"; it sounded sorta Italian German... so I guess fascist? Gotta love that fascist Portuguese. I'm a sucker for foreign films. "Amelie", "Secrets And Lies", "28 Days Later" "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and "La Cage aux folles" are some I really enjoyed. Subtitles obviously don't bother me and the fact that not every one has to end with some picturesque ending a la Hollywood. Although, I secretly cheer for those endings if the main characters have been through enough shit where a good ending is deserved like in "28 Days Later". If that movie had ended any other way, I would have been pissed. Plus the endings de alternate sucked hellas. Pssffttt...
I noticed that I've become like a Best Week Ever panelist, well I was like that before the show existed but roll with me, because I make comments about everything or I think something. I always wanna challenge something cuz it's fun. NY, NY here I come! I reserve the purple background cuz that is my color and keep Paul Scheer away from me cuz he freaks me out.
