Originally uploaded by c a s e. It's been over a year and a half since last posting on Live Journal - although I read my friends page nearly every day. I've been meaning to set up my website so that I could at least keep my own blog up to date, but since I only have a cable modem and no static IPs, that's been a no go as well.
I always felt that recording my thoughts someplace was kind of cathartic and allowed me the opportunity to put some things into words that hadn't been there before. Or find a way to say something that wasn't quite all together while it remained in my head. Or just as a way to unwind. Whatever it is... Livejournal is now going to provide that outlet.
The photo you see is a picture of the Blue Ridge Mountains I took on October 25th, 20052004 while I traveled for the first time in my territory in Western NC. I had just the weekend before moved from Canton, MI to Atlanta, GA with Ford for a new job. I decided to bail on IT and pursue my passion for marketing discovered while on a 7 month assignment with a vehicle marketing team in Detroit. I've officially moved into Marketing and Sales with Ford and left the IT organization behind. Not quite what I'd expected to happen when I graduated and took a job with Ford in 2003.
Hotlanta's a great place to live. It was 70 and sunny on New Years and while there's been a few cold snaps since then, it's pretty mild. We have a family membership to the Atlanta Zoo and have enjoyed exploring the city. You can see a few of the photos we've taken since moving here by clicking on this link.
