long time no update.
alright, well i'm going to start updating this again since it's too risky to put some things up on my .com website. ;)
alright. so my first frat party.. kind of lame. it was so not like the movies :\ i was only there for like an hour, i guess, and i decided not to drink because i decided that i wanted to surprise rusty later on that night, which was a disaster in itself, which i'll get to in a minute. so i went with a few of my sorority sisters who live in castilian... man it was soo weird to hear someone say that out loud and to get the look in some frat boy's face when they find out you're in a sorority... but that's beside the point. before the party, allie and i went shopping to buy something to wear that night, but i ended up buying an $80 skirt and a $30 dress to wear to chapter meetings. which is why i now have no money for my dance class. oh well.
so we're ready to go to the party by 10:00, even though it doesnt start till like 11:00 or whatever, so we kill time. we get there and it was just a bunch of people drinking on a tennis court. there were soooo many girls. the guys were pretty much typical frat boys: jerks in polos. i dont really know what i was expecting, but oh well. we went to another frat house then i went back to the castilian to get my car and head over to rusty's.. before i get back to the castilian, someone spills beer ALL over me AND i fell in some mud :\ it was actually really amusing, though.
(side story) allie had this really hot police officer hat and aviator classes which she said i could borrow. so i took them and went over to rusty's wearing them with every intention of surprising him.
so i get to rusty's apartment, wearing all black (what i was wearing to the party), this police hat, and the glasses. i use my key to unlock his door. the apartment is dark. rusty is asleep. cool, i think, i will wake him up with a kiss and it will be awesome. not awesome. kind of funny now that i think about it. but i kiss him, he wakes up and he's totally confused. at first he thought i was a real cop, then he was confused and thought i was drunk. *sigh* boys. it's funny now that i think about it.
i spent the last two night's over at rusty's, and now i'm totally bored, not really knowing what to do now that i'm in my own room. there's nothing going on on my floor. my roommate and i called Tiff's Treats (this cookie delivery place) and watched Mean Girls with a dozen chocolate chip cookies, hot and fresh from the oven. it was nice.
i did my first load of laundry today since i lived in denison.
